We always hear about the major influx of Californians moving to the Lone Star State, but never really about any imports from our friendly neighbors to the north, Canada.
That will change in 2024 though, as the Canadian coffee and doughnut chain Tim Hortons will open its very first location in North Texas next year!
According to WFAA, construction on North Texas' first Tim Hortons is set to begin in March, and will occupy 1,640 square feet of space in Coppell.
Houston restauranteurs and brothers Ali and Emad Lakhany are behind Tim Hortons move to North Texas, after opening the chain's first location in Texas just outside of Houston in 2022.
This won't be the end of the chain's expansion in North Texas though, as Ryan Ferranti, head of business development for Tim Hortons, said Tim Hortons has "multiple units" headed for Dallas.
Coppell's Tim Hortons will be located will at 440 North State Highway 121 and is scheduled to open toward the end of the second quarter in 2024.
