It’s a journey from Mansfield to Hollywood for two students from Mansfield ISD, who have each just landed a role on the hit ABC show Abbott Elementary.

Aeiress Jones, a student at Charles McKinzey Middle School, is scheduled to appear in episode 7 of the show’s current fifth season, and Raymond Ware, who attends Danny Jones Middle School, will appear in episode 9.

Both episodes are scheduled to air in December.

Both students previously studied at the Fine Arts Academy at Alma Martinez Intermediate School.

Both kids’ family’s credit MISD’s fine arts programs for providing the foundation to pursue professional acting.

Raymond’s mother Selena told FOX 4, "He’s been very fortunate to have awesome teachers who have encouraged him.

"They still reach out to me to check on him. It’s encouraging to see that as a parent."
