Most people who play the lottery go years without ever winning. The odds are definitely stacked against them, but when luck is involved you never know what might happen. That’s how two separate people managed to win big on a Texas Lottery scratch off ticket on the same day, going home with a $1 million prize each.

On Thursday two people in completely different parts of Texas won the $1 million prize on a Texas Lottery scratch off ticket. One winner was in Fort Worth, while the other was in Corpus Christi. According to CW33, the Fort Worth ticket was purchased at the RaceTrac on Eastchase Parkway.

Both winners decided to remain anonymous, which is probably smart now that they are millionaires. With these wins there are only two second-tier prize of $1 million left to be claimed. Hopefully at least one more winner pops up in DFW.
