Last month, a report named Dallas as one of the best cities for doughnuts in America. Now, one of the most beloved doughnut shops in America has decided to call Dallas home. Portland’s Voodoo Doughnut already has locations in Austin, Houston and San Antonio, but later this year will finally open their first DFW location.
Known for their over-the-top fancy fried pastry concoctions, Voodoo Doughnuts has become one of the country’s best doughnut shops since opening in 2000. They have since expanded all over the country, and will open their 20th location in Dallas’ Lowest Greenville later this year, according to Dallas Morning News. The new doughnut shop is expected to open at 1806 Greenville Ave, but no opening date has been announced at this time.
Voodoo Doughnut offers 50 doughnut varieties, including 25 that are vegan. Some of their most popular include bacon maple bars, peanut butter and jelly doughnuts, glazed old-fashioneds and sprinkle cake doughnuts. As long as they also offer kolaches, DFW will likely love it just as much as the rest of America.
