Texans will never forget the Blue Alert that was sent to our phones earlier this month. Honestly, how could any of us forget being woken up by our phones blaring at 5am on a Friday?
Well the man behind that Blue Alert was finally apprehended by the police, after being on the run for nearly the entire month of October.
According to NBC DFW, Seth Altman was arrested by Fort Worth police without incident Friday near 1300 E. Lancaster Ave.
Altman set off the Blue Alert after shooting the chief of police multiple times in the Texas Panhandle town of Memphis.
He was placed on Texas' Most Wanted list, with Governor Abbott offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to his capture.
Altman is currently in custody of the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office.
