It won’t be long before we see driverless Waymo robotaxis cruising around the streets of Dallas.

Waymo already has operational, autonomous robotaxis in Austin, but the company says the service will soon be available for patrons in Dallas “in the coming weeks.”

According to the Dallas Morning News, in the beginning, robotaxi will begin offering rides to employees in downtown Dallas and surround areas, including Love Field.

Autonomous rides will then be available for the public beginning in 2026.  Users can request the ride in the dedicated Waymo app.

Dallas City Manager Kimberly Bizor Tolbert said in a statement, “We are excited that Waymo is coming to Dallas.

“Together, Dallas and Waymo will prioritize safety, while providing new and innovative transportation choices for our community.”
