In the three-minute video, Teigen and her friends tried to determine whether or not the peculiar noise was the hamster. The group came together to come up with a plan to save the hamster. Teigen wrote, "No idea the plan here."

The video shows the model wearing a floral robe while trying to cut a hole in the wall using some sort of screwdriver or chisel. When that doesn't work, she suggests using a hammer, but her friend instantly says it isn't a good idea.

"I really wanted to," Teigen wrote in text over the video.

After successfully cutting a small hole into the side of the wall, Peanut Butter makes his presence known and sticks out his nose. But the hamster appears to have grown fond of his new surroundings and crawls back inside the wall.

"Are you serious?" Teigen said.

Finally, the "Lip Sync Battle" host uses a plastic exercise ball to assist in getting her furry friend safely out of the wall.

The cookbook author laughed and then held the ball to her chest. Mission accomplished!
