Deputies from the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department and other first responder agencies in the South Bay came together this morning to thank healthcare workers.
Santa Clara County has been the Bay Area’s coronavirus hot spot since the beginning of the pandemic. Over 1,600 cases have been reported in the county.
“We all need a shot in the arm about now for all the time that we’ve put in, especially our healthcare workers,” said Sheriff Smith. “We’re so proud of what they do everyday.”
