Four witnesses are scheduled to testify Tuesday to the House Intelligence Committee as part of the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump.

Jennifer Williams, an aide to Vice President Mike Pence, Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, a director in the National Security Council, Ambassador Kurt Volker, who was posted in Ukraine, and Tim Morrison, a former national security adviser to Trump, are all expected to answer questions in the third public session of impeachment panel.

Williams and Vindman will appear in a morning session, beginning at 6 a.m. Pacific while Volker and Morrision go before the committee chaired by Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff in the afternoon.

Five other witnesses have been scheduled to testify later this week.

Democrats have sought evidence that Trump abused his power by withholding military aid to Ukraine until the Eastern European country launched an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden. Trump and Republican supporters have decried the impeachment process.

In recent days, Trump has tweeted dismissively about Williams, calling her a "Never Trumper" and implying that he doesn't know her.

Tell Jennifer Williams, whoever that is, to read BOTH transcripts of the presidential calls, & see the just released ststement from Ukraine. Then she should meet with the other Never Trumpers, who I don’t know & mostly never even heard of, & work out a better presidential attack!
