A Santa Cruz County beachgoer got a scary surprise this week when a massive wave knocked him off a rock and tossed him into the ocean.In a video released by the county, a man can be seen standing on a rocky ledge pounded by surf at Bonny Doon Beach. Suddenly, a large wave crashes into the rock and knocks him down. As the wave clears, the man can be seen tumbling into the ocean.The man was rescued by members of the State Parks and is fine.The county posted the video to its Facebook page Tuesday, and used the incident as an opportunity to spread awareness about dangerous surf conditions, but it's unclear when the incident took place.The National Weather Service had issued a high surf advisory that was in effect until 9 a.m. Thursday, warning of waves breaking at heights of up to 25 feet from the North Bay down to Big Sur.
