Protest, once again, spilled out onto the streets of Vallejo as angry residents demonstrated against the police killing of Sean Monterrosa last month.

Demonstrators took their demands for increased police transparency right to the steps of the Vallejo Police Department in an hours-long demonstration that took place just days after police released body camera footage of the June 2 shooting of Monterrosa.

Police said they believed Monterossa was reaching for a gun when it was a hammer. Monterrosa’s sisters, Ashley and Michelle addressed the assembled crowd and called for more footage of the incident to be released.
