1. Oakland Lighted Yacht Parade
Watch a parade of boats, as they glide through the Alameda Estuary, decked in holiday finery. Jack London Square is a great place to watch.
"We have sailboats, powerboats, even kayaks and rowers participate and light their boats," said Carol Blackburn, an organizer.

2. San Francisco SantaCon 2019
Revelerers dressed as Santa gather in various locations throughout the city, including Union Square and on Polk Street to bar-hop, dance and party.

GeekCraft Expo is a curated craft market specializing in handmade, "geek"-themed crafts of all kinds; clothing, accessories, toys, home decoration, furniture and art.
If it's geeky and made by hand, it can be found at a GeekCraft Expo.
December 7-8, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. at the Oakland Convention Center.
4. Mill Valley Chamber's Winterfest Sidewalk Sale
This is Mill Valley's landmark annual holiday celebration and it's featuring a massive slide, Santa, a full day of live entertainment and music, children's activities, amazing local food and a Christmas tree and menorah lighting ceremonies.
December 8, 11 a.m. — 5 p.m. in downtown Mill Valley.
