The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office has released a photo of the man suspected of stealing a firefighter's wallet and draining his bank account of funds over the weekend.
In a press conference, CAL FIRE Operations Chief Mark Brunton called the incident "unfortunate and sickening."

A fake GoFundMe account was setup for the employee whose belongings were stolen, but CAL FIRE issued a statement via Twitter clarifying the account was not affiliated with the employee and advised the public to use caution when donating.
