The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s office said they have had a hard time keeping looters out. By Monday night, eight suspected looters were arrested.

A fake GoFundMe account was setup for the employee whose belongings were stolen, but CAL FIRE issued a statement via Twitter clarifying the account was not affiliated with the employee and advised the public to use caution when donating.
