A missing 13-year-old from Mendocino County has been found and a 22-year-old suspect connected to her disappearance has been arrested in San Francisco, authorities said.
Sienna Carter, of Fort Bragg, was found near the Ferry Building on January 5 after a two-day search for her in the city.
Her photo was seen widely after her family began circulating images on social media.
A man who was allegedly accompanying her has been taken into custody by San Francisco and UCSF police, but not yet identified.
Sienna had come to UCSF's Mission Bay campus to accompany a sibling for diabetes treatment.
Surveillance video showed Sienna leaving the hospital with a young man that had communicated with her on the Internet, according to the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office.
