
President Trump has now identified the Vice President’s staffer who tested positive for COVID-19 as “Katie.”
The aide had possibly been in contact with six people scheduled to fly on Air Force 2 Friday morning, so those individuals were removed from the flight.
An administration official told reporters on the flight that none of the other staffers were exhibiting any symptoms. The official said Pence and about 10 members of his staff are tested daily. Pence was tested Friday morning.
Miller is the second person in the White House to test positive for the virus, after news broke Thursday that a member of the military serving as one of President Donald Trump's valets tested positive for the coronavirus.
Trump says some staffers who interact with him closely would now be tested daily.
