Rick Batiste has spent more than 30 years behind the microphone in the radio business.
Rick has worked at radio stations in San Francisco, Sacramento, Modesto, Vacaville and Stockton playing the hits and delivering news and traffic updates. Prior to joining KCBS Radio, he also worked as a traffic reporter for sister station KNX in Los Angeles. Rick has also done traffic updates from the air and from the highway, as well as from the studio.
In his spare time, Rick enjoys volunteering his time as a mobile DJ at various Bay Area schools. His favorite dishes are seafood gumbo, jambalaya, red beans and rice and paella. Rick also enjoys bike riding, working out, drives in the country and a wide variety of music.
Born in Oakland and raised in Vallejo, Rick’s heart belongs to the Bay Area and is honored to be working with the hard-working and talented staff at KCBS Radio.
