Santa Clara County Sheriff's deputies had an unusual situation to bring under control when a herd of roughly 50 goats escaped from a Los Altos yard on Thursday.

Deputies and members of Palo Alto Animal Control worked with the help of a sheepdog to round up the animals and guide them back home.

There were no reports of any injuries, the sheriff's department said.
