New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman is from Redwood City and went to Woodside High School. He also played as a quarterback at College of San Mateo.
Edelman had 10 catches for 141 yards in the Patriots' 13 to 3 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday in the Super Bowl. He is the seventh wide receiver to earn Super Bowl MVP honors.
