A motor home flipped in a collision that blocked several lanes of I-580 in Oakland for hours on fMonday morning.
The RV, which was pulling a trailer, and another vehicle crashed after 5 a.m. on the eastbound section of the freeway near the Edwards Avenue exit, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Although the motor home and trailer appeared wrecked, the police said that there were only minor injuries.

August 5, 2019 Three lanes were shut, however, because the overturned RV and scattered debris took up three lanes.
Only the right-hand lane was open to cars for several hours. Traffic moving in the reverse commute direction was backed up to the Fruitvale neighborhood in Oakland before the CHP said that all lanes reopened around 10:20 a.m.
