SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS Radio) -- The park atop the Salesforce Transbay Transit Center is again accessible to walkers and people taking lunch or coffee breaks. But the massive transit center beneath is a few weeks away from welcoming throngs of daily transit riders.
The park re-opened early Monday, more than nine months after the discovery of a cracked steel beam forced the closure of the new transit center.
