A man accused of slashing another man with a sword during an argument over the alleged attacker's Make America Great Again hat on March 29 has been arrested, the San Francisco Police Department announced.

Leor Bergland allegedly cut the man's hand outside of the Church of 8 Wheels rink while dressed in a pirate costume after the man batted at his MAGA cap.

The victim, a 27-year-old man from Berkeley, according to the San Francisco Chronicle, was treated for non-life threatening injuries after Bergland fled.

Police said that they found Bergland in a Tenderloin restaurant on Wednesday.

He was booked into jail on charges of attempted murder, mayhem, aggravated assault, brandishing a weapon and other charges.

Bail was set at $1 million.
