Carrie Underwood performs for first time in San Francisco on 2022-2023 tour

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – Carrie Underwood is hitting the road for "The Denim & Rhinestones" tour on Oct. 15 and will be closing the 2022 leg of the tour at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

The tour includes 43 cities, it kicks off in Greenville, South Carolina, and will wrap in Seattle on March 17, 2023, Billboard reported.

Underwood's stop at the Chase Center on Nov. 19 will be her first-ever performance in San Francisco, Chase Center confirmed to KCBS Radio. She has previously performed in Oakland, Sacramento and San Jose.

Her album "Denim & Rhinestones" will be released on June 10.

Grammy-nominated, Jimmie Allen will open for Underwood on the tour. He recently won a Country Music Award for new artist of the year and his new album; "Tulip Drive" is set to be released on June 24, according to Billboard.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale on May 20 at 10 a.m. A portion of the ticket sold will be donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which provides mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and builds homes for injured veterans and first responders, Billboard said.
