The TONY-award winning "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is set to return to San Francisco's Curran Theater starting January 11, 2022.

The play made its west coast debut in October 2019 before being suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic a few months later.

The reimagined version will present the play in a single performance, which is expected to be about 3.5 hours as opposed to the two-part, five-hour experience Potter fans were previously treated to.

Tuesday-Friday showings will be at 7 p.m. while Saturdays and Sundays have a 1 p.m. option, as well.

Pre-sale tickets are available now with code BroadwaySF here, and general on-sale begins Wednesday July 21st.

The play is set years after the final book and sees Harry grapple with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs. It focuses on his youngest son, Albus, who must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.
