The fans have gotten their wish.
"Jeopardy!" has its latest slate of guest hosts and the list includes former "Reading Rainbow" host, LeVar Burton. The news comes after Burton had endorsed a petition calling for him to get a chance at hosting. It has garnered 250,000 signatures since last November.
Burton expressed his gratitude to the fans who supported this goal and promised to his best in the role. Other guest hosts who will help close out the show's 37th season include Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, Dave Faber, & Joe Buck.
Filming of these episodes will begin in June and a date for when Burton's will air are to be announced.
