After receiving much criticism for his takes on the coronavirus pandemic that has gripped the world for over a year, firebrand singer Ted Nugent has revealed on social media that he has been tested positive for COVID-19.
Known for staunchly supporting right-wing causes and offering his own brand of public commentary on a wide range of topics, including his belief that what we are experiencing is "not a real pandemic," the Nuge posted a new kind of message on his Facebook page on April 19 saying, "My God, what a pain in the ass. I literally could hardly crawl out of bed the last few days… So I was officially tested positive for COVID-19 today."

"Everybody told me that I should not announce this," Nugent said, before explaining his situation in a very Ted Nugent way. "I have had flu symptoms for the last ten days. I thought I was dying. Just a clusterf***. “I was tested positive today. I got the Chinese s***. I’ve got a stuffed-up head, body aches."
Nugent also says in the video that has not gotten the vaccine because according to him, "nobody knows what's in it, actually some people do know what's in it" in contradiction to many of his fellow musicians who have been promoting the benefits and safety of vaccinations. Finally, after burping the words "Hallelujah" and what sounded like "Barack" and explaining that he is "basically now homebound, quarantined" Nugent promoted the efforts of MyPillow maker Mike Lindell and signed off with a positive attitude and an invitation for fans to join him for a new interview in his Spirit Campfire series.
