It was the first time since 2016 that Brady played a home game against the Niners.
The wet weather didn't discourage loyal fans and ticket holders from attending the game, Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara was filled with red as the Niners showed early on that the game was in their favor.
It was a surprise for many to see the 7-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady throw two interceptions in the game.
Niners took the lead early as the rain turned from light sprinkles to a full on downpour by the end of the third quarter. It was around then that many fans decided to head home.
By that point it was a comfortable lead for the Niners. The final score was 35 to seven, with the 49ers making an easy victory.
