
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – East Palo Alto police are searching for two suspects after a 15-year-old boy was shot and killed in an alley on Monday.

On Monday just after 9 p.m., police received a Shotspotter alert on the 1900 block of Manhattan Ave., KTVU reported. They arrived to find a 15-year-old boy suffering from gunshots wounds in an alley between Manhattan and Euclid avenues.
Despite emergency life-saving efforts, the boy later died at a local hospital, authorities reported. According to police, two suspects — unknown if they are boys or men — were seen running toward Woodland Avenue, the station said. The department is now searching for those suspects.
The name of the victim has not been released.
KCBS Radio has reached out to the East Palo Alto Police Department for further information, but has not yet heard back.
