Two suspects, including one teenager, were arrested earlier this month in connection to a major theft at Tanforan Mall of thousands of dollars of merchandise in San Bruno, according to a San Bruno Police Department press release.
Two women entered a store at Tanforan Mall on Dec. 16, took a lot of high-end merchandise and put them into their bags, then left without paying.

An employee called it in at 1:20 p.m., and officers arrived on the scene just in time to stop one of the two suspects fleeing from the mall in a waiting vehicle. The other suspect fled the scene separately.
The two occupants from the stopped vehicle included a 16-year-old San Francisco resident, one of the thieves from the store.
Her stolen merchandise was later determined to be worth more than $16,000.
The teenager and the driver of the vehicle, a 21-year-old San Francisco resident were charged with burglary, organized retail theft and conspiracy to commit a crime.
The teen was released to a guardian pending a future court date at San Mateo County Juvenile Court while the 21-year-old was booked to San Mateo County Jail.
The search for the other thief from the store is ongoing.
