2 arrested for allegedly stabbing man to death in SF's Mission District

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – Two men have been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man in San Francisco's Mission District.

On Friday shortly after 6:30 p.m., officers responded to 15th Street and South Van Ness due to reports that a man was stabbed, the San Francisco Police Department said in a press release.

At the scene, police found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, but despite life-saving efforts he later died from his injuries.

Two suspects, whose identities have not yet been released, were found near the scene of the crime and arrested for homicide, police said.

This is an ongoing investigation.
