Bay Area residents felt a small earthquake late Thursday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.8 magnitude earthquake struck at 11:18 a.m. about two miles west of Concord at an estimated depth of four miles. It could be felt as far west as San Francisco and Pacifica and as far north as Fairfield, according to reports.

Per procedure, BART service was paused while track inspection was completed.
