6-foot boa constrictor found in East Bay neighborhood

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – East Bay residents were startled Monday night when they found a boa constrictor roaming a Livermore neighborhood.

Livermore police responded to the 1100 block of Big Basin Road after receiving multiple calls about a snake. According to police, the boa was six feet long.

Police said multiple residents reported that they were scared.

When officers arrived, they determined that the snake belonged to a person living in the area and safely reunited the owner and pet.
