Supporters of Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden have gathered in San Francisco to paint a mural with the message that every vote counts, uniting in an atmosphere that was a combination of party and protest.
At the corner of California and Montgomery Streets in San Francisco is a freshly painted mural reading “Count Every Vote.”

Biden supporters brought their paintbrushes to the protest, which is part of living in a democracy, according to Victor Valdiviezo.
“It’s a statement saying we’re not going to stop until all the votes are counted, we’re going to ensure that,” he said. “It’s a statement saying that we believe in the democratic process. We’re here. We’re not going anywhere.”
Valdiviezo told KCBS Radio that, “we should be joyfully engaged” in the voter process and the voter count.”

The protest was strategically located outside of the Jones Day Law Firm offices. Jones Day works with the Trump campaign.
Valdiviezo said that protesters were there to send a strong message to Trump and to Jones Day, and that they need to, “stand down.”
He also pointed out that “anybody can go to court,” but that the real question is whether there is a foundation for the Trump campaign to bring a lawsuit, saying, “There is none.”
Valdiviezo said his biggest fear is that President Trump supporters may not be as peaceful as the people at this demonstration. Other protesters said that the event was about sending a message.
Joe Biden currently leads President Donald Trump in several key states, and is up in the popular vote by nearly 4 million votes, but the official results have yet to be called.
Jones Day has not responded to KCBS Radio's request for comment.
