The Bay Area Air Quality Management District has ended the current air quality advisory Monday morning.
Clearer air and rainy skies greeted Bay Area residents Monday morning after a weekend of an air quality advisory.
Smoke and haze from fires in Central and Southern California continue to polluted Bay Area skies over the weekend. Air quality in the North Bay, Central Bay and Santa Clara Valley was moderate, however, air quality levels did not surpass federal health standards, officials assured.
Following typical protocol, residents were advised to stay inside and keep their windows and doors closed to avoid smoke exposure.
