The blaze, coined the Corral Fire by CAL FIRE officials, caught flame around 10 p.m. in the 15000 block of Corral Hollow Road.
Within an hour, the fire grew to 50 acres fueled by high winds sweeping across the region.
According to CAL FIRE, the blaze was burning "in light flashy fuels and holding at a road," however it was not immediately clear which road the flames were holding.
At 11:18 p.m., crews announced that the fire was 100% controlled at 50 acres.
The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory beginning at 8 p.m. on Wednesday until 11 a.m. on Thursday, with possible gusts up to 60 miles per hour in the East Bay Hills and North Bay.
