Alameda, Napa counties move into least restrictive Yellow Tier

With California set to end its coronavirus restrictions on June 15, two Bay Area counties will be able to ease restrictions even sooner.

Alameda and Napa counties both moved into the least restrictive Yellow Tier on Tuesday afternoon, joining San Francisco, Marin, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties.

Movie theaters, indoor dining at restaurants and gyms can open at 50% capacity. Bars that do not provide meals can resume indoor operations at 25% capacity.

The moves are the last before California's reopening on June 15.
