An East Bay police department has served a search warrant at a "residential location" in Contra Costa County as it continues looking for a 24-year-old woman reported missing last week.
The Oakley Police Department announced in a press release on Tuesday night it served the warrant in Antioch earlier that day as part of its investigation into the disappearance of Alexis Gabe, a resident who was reported missing on Jan. 27. Antioch police and the Contra Costa District Attorney's Office "assisted" the Oakley Police Department, according to the release.

Gabe, described as 5-foot-7, 170-pound Asian woman, was seen wearing a white tank top under a silver and black hooded sweatshirt, with black pants and green and white shoes. Morgan Strenfel, identified as the girlfriend of Gabe's brother in a KTVU story and Gabe's sister-in-law in a KNTV report, posted on Sunday in a Facebook group dedicated to finding Gabe that volunteers had discovered "any leads or information" about Gabe's whereabouts.
The Oakley Police Department told KNTV that Gabe's keys were left in her car's ignition, and the door was left open. Volunteers found the car on Sunday.
"The more time that goes by, obviously, the more unsettled we are," Strenfel told the outlet. "They way we found her car is extremely unusual."
Oakley police called the search for Gabe the department's "top priority" in a Facebook post on Monday. Authorities said some officers have been reassigned to assist detectives in the investigation, while the department "solicited the assistance of neighboring law enforcement agencies."
The Oakley Police Department said "credible" sightings of Gabe can be reported by calling 925-625-8060, as can information that would lead to her discovery. A GoFundMe aiming to raise money for "friends and family to continue efforts to search for her whereabouts" had garnered $5,780 in donations as of press time.
