Police arrested three suspects in connection with the shooting of a 19-year-old man during an apparent botched robbery at an Antioch home early Sunday.

Authorities responded to a call of a person being shot shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday, arriving at the 100 block of Hillside Rd. to find a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The victim was immediately hospitalized and is in stable condition.

Evidence at the scene suggested several suspects forced their way into the house and were confronted by both the eventual gunshot victim and multiple other family members including a 54-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man.

Suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.

During the subsequent shooting investigation, a 23-year-old San Pablo man turned up at a local hospital and was treated for stab wounds. He is expected to survive. Police determined the injuries were suffered during the confrontation, labeling both him and a 20-year-old man at the emergency room to be suspects.

A third suspect, a 22-year-old San Pablo man, was later found in Richmond and arrested.

Police did not release the names of the suspects nor clarify who allegedly stabbed the 23-year-old man.

Anyone with information is asked to call Antioch police Detective Bledsoe at 925-779-6884 or Antioch police at 925-778-2441 or text a tip to 274637 (CRIMES) using the key word ANTIOCH.

The investigation remains active.
