Following Wordle's rise to fame, Wordtips, a word finder tool, released a study analyzing "Wordle Wizards" — where in the world is best at solving Wordle?

Although the United States didn't make the top ten global cut, Berkeley, California was ranked fourth on the national scale of best Wordle averages.

Boasting a score of 3.61 guesses, the Bay Area city beat out Malden, Massachusetts; Tusla, Oklahoma; Richmond, Virginia; Portsmouth, New Hampshire; Waukesha, Wisconsin and Nashville, Tennessee.

Ranked best in the world overall was Canberra, Australia, with a score of 3.58, while Saint Paul, Minnesota took the crown with an average Wordle score of 3.51.

"Just consider that 3.51 average means many St Paulites are regularly nailing the daily word in three guesses or fewer," Wordtips wrote, deeming Saint Paul the "U.S. Capital of Wordle."

Wordtips conducted the study by pulling 195,248 tweets with hashtag #wordle using Twitter API. They then extracted the game score from 142,669 tweets, attempted to get the user location and grouped the data by country, state, and city.
