The Alameda County Fire Department rescued a groom and his groomsmen from a malfunctioning elevator on Saturday.
On Sept. 11, Engine 35 responded to a call reporting eight people trapped in an elevator in Emeryville. To the firefighters' surprise, they found a wedding party desperate to make it to the special day.
Despite being late, the party posed for a quick picture with their heroes after the crew safely freed the men before dashing off to the wedding.
