
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS Radio) – Authorities are asking for the public's help to find a missing Bay Area man who mysteriously disappeared six weeks ago.

Gregory Peterson, a 62-year-old man from Cloverdale, went missing on July 16. His car was found ablaze later that day on the side of a highway, baffling investigators.
According to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office, Peterson left his home in the 30000 block of Highway 128 in Cloverdale at around 4 a.m. after receiving a call from an acquaintance who needed vehicle help.
At 11:30 a.m., Peterson's car was found on fire on Highway 101, north of Cloverdale. The 62-year-old was nowhere to be found and has not been seen or heard from since.
Peterson is a white man, 6'3" tall, who weighs around 200 lbs.
A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered by the Sonoma County Alliance Community Engagement and Safety Rewards Fund for information leading to his whereabouts or the arrest of any persons responsible for his disappearance.
