A man was killed in Oakland on Friday night while biking the wrong way down MacArthur Freeway.
California Highway Patrol said that the bicyclist was struck head on by two vehicles at approximately 10 p.m. while riding in the eastbound lanes of the interstate.
Witnesses reported that the victim was wearing dark clothes.
The freeway was shut down for over an hour while officers conducted an investigation into the collision.
