About a month before the 2021 festival, BottleRock Napa updated their health & safety guidelines to require proof of vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test to enter.
On day 1 of the Napa festival, 96% of attendees provided proof of vaccination, while the other 4% showed a negative test taken within 72 hours of September 3.
The festival made the announcement ahead of day 2, which features headliners Guns N' Roses and Miley Cyrus.
The festival requires masks be worn in indoor spaces & has 350+ sanitization stations on site. Masks are also recommended to be worn at all times, but are not required in outdoor spaces, per California guidelines.
