A pedestrian in Menlo Park was struck and killed by a northbound Caltrain on Friday morning.

The collision occurred at approximately 10:36 a.m. when an individual trespassing on the tracks between Watkins Avenue and Encinal Avenue was fatally struck by NB113, Caltrain spokesperson Dan Lieberman said. All 68 passengers aboard the train were uninjured.
After a brief closure, both tracks were reopened for maximum speeds around 1:30 p.m.
This was Caltrain's fourth fatality of the year, Lieberman said.
No other information was available, including the identity of the victim.
