
Caltrain's number 206 train heading southbound Friday morning struck and killed a person who was standing on the tracks at the control point on Trousdale Avenue in Burlingame, the agency said.
The incident caused major delays for the rail service as all trains were stopped immediately.
The agency tweeted at 7:28 a.m. that they had reopened the tracks and riders should expect more delays as the morning continues.
