Police are investigating the shooting death of a woman who was found by a bicyclist in the Oakland hills on Monday morning, officers confirmed to the East Bay Times.
The woman has not been identified yet but is believed to be in her 20s, the Oakland Police Department told the paper.

The police were called around 9:10 a.m. after the bicyclist spotted the woman's body. The bystander discovered her in an isolated area near Pinehurst Road on the 7800 block of Redwood Road.
She was pronounced dead on the scene, and authorities didn't reveal how long the woman's body was there or if she was killed there.
