Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman whose body was found outside a Mountain View movie theater on Wednesday morning.
A runner noticed a woman, motionless, near the front doors of the ShowPlace ICON Theatre in San Antonio Center at around 6:20 a.m., police said. The runner then called 911 and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene after first responders arrived.
The theater's parking structure was closed until around 9 a.m., and the Mountain View Police Department has opened an investigation.
The Santa Clara County Coroner is working to confirm the woman's identity and cause of death.
