
The National Weather service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for parts of the Bay Area.
Many residents woke up to a thick gray blanket enveloping their homes Saturday morning as Karl the Fog made a dramatic return. Visibility as low as 1/16th of a mile was reported in Palo Alto and 1/8th of a mile in San Jose and Oakland.

The advisory was issued for the East Bay, North Bay and West Delta to the San Francisco Bay and will remain in effect until 11 a.m.
Weather officials advised the public to take it slow on roads, use low beam headlights and leave plenty of space between cars.
The fog is expected to burn off into the afternoon, but it forecasted to be back Sunday morning.
