An Oakland woman is offering a generous, no questions asked reward after her two French bulldogs were taken from the back of her car Saturday.
Jamon and Jimmy, two 6-year-old French bulldogs, were stolen at around 9 a.m. after owner Alison McInnis parked in front of Lincoln Square Safeway. When McInnis came back, her back windows were smashed and Jamon and Jimmy were nowhere to be found.

"They're very distinctive," McInnis told KCBS Radio. Jamon has dark gray, blue brindle coloring while Jimmy is cream.

French bulldog dognapping has become a trend seen throughout the Bay Area, as far north as Sacramento and down in Los Angeles.
McInnis said both her dogs are microchipped and mature dogs, not puppies.
"They're old, middle aged men and they can't be bred, they need some medicine and they need to come home," she said.
McInnis has put the word out on social media and has filed a police report in Oakland, but was told it will take a week to assign a detective. In the meantime, she's hoping the community will keep an eye out.
"I'm absolutely crushingly devastated, but I'm just keeping going because that's the only alternative," she said. "I have to believe that they'll come back to me."
A generous, no questions asked reward is being offered for their return.
