A driver caused mayhem on the Bay Bridge on Thursday.

While attempting to flee from California Highway Patrol officials after a traffic violation, the driver collided with another car and kept going, according to reporting by the San Francisco Chronicle.
Just before 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, CHP officers were conducting a traffic stop by the Fourth Street exit on a vehicle that didn't have any license plates.
The driver refused to yield and fled from officers, driving onto the bridge and smashing into another car. The driver continued on in an attempt to evade apprehension.
Officers were able to catch up to the car near Treasure Island Road, by eastbound Interstate 80, when it "came to a stop," according to the paper.
Five people were arrested. No one was injured, the paper reported.
CHP did not respond to KCBS Radio's request for comment at the time of publication.
