
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – An elderly woman was struck and injured by a person riding an electric scooter in San Francisco's Tenderloin District on Monday afternoon, according to police.

The collision occurred just after 12 p.m. at the 300 block of Ellis Street.
The victim, a 72-year-old woman, is being treated at a local hospital for her injuries, which are considered non-life threatening.
The male scooter driver has not been arrested as of Tuesday and an investigation is ongoing. No other information was released, including a description of the driver.
Police asked anyone with further information to call their tip line at 415-575-4444 or text TIP411 with "SFPD" at the beginning of the message.
